Overview
Are you looking for a new career in hospital pharmacy? This rotational post offers the opportunity to work across multiple sites in Greater Manchester and to gain experience in Mental Health Secondary Care. The role supports progression toward a career in Hospital Pharmacy and Mental Health, with the potential to progress to a band 7 post based on demonstrated competencies. Mental health experience is not essential as full training will be offered in-house.
Responsibilities
- Be an integrated member of the pharmacy team providing a dedicated, safe and effective, patient-centred clinical service across the trust, delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to all patients.
- Work within a supportive team under the guidance of experienced senior clinical pharmacists.
- Contribute to service development and quality and safety through ward rounds, audits and education.
- Access further specialist rotations during progression, including opportunities in substance misuse, forensic and CAMHS services.
Qualifications
- Qualified pharmacists or those looking to move from community or acute hospital trusts into Mental Health Secondary Care.
- Mental health experience is not essential as in-house training will be provided.
