Qualifications

• Registered Midwife with NMC and valid PIN.
• Experience working in different settings utilizing midwifery skills.
• Knowledge in confidentiality issues and health promotion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full spectrum of midwifery care across hospital and community settings.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care with accountability.
• Participate in the 24-hour rota, including nights and weekends.

Skills

Ability to practice in all areas of midwifery in accordance with the NMC Midwives Code of Practice

Good verbal and written skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Able to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team and outside agencies

Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner

Ability to use MS Office, Cyber lab, EPR, Badgernet

Education

NMC Registered Midwife

Current and Valid UK NMC PIN

Evidence of professional development and updating

SSSA certification
