Overview

Rotational Clerical Officer – Band 2, 37.5 hours – Permanent post. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Community Administration service to provide relief cover throughout Tameside and Glossop. This post will work across all locality sites, providing full clerical support to Health Care Professional teams based within community clinics.

Community clinics currently operate between 8.00am and 8.00pm, Monday to Saturday. The role requires coverage across all clinic sites (Glossop to Hyde to Ashton to Denton & Droylsden) dependent on service requirements. Therefore, being a car driver is essential. This role will be working within the Community Administration service for Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care Organisation, which covers 14 sites across the Tameside & Glossop boroughs providing community services to local patients.

To provide a welcoming and professional first impression for patients/Healthcare Professionals on arrival at community clinic reception desks, whether front facing or via telephone, to ensure they receive an excellent customer service experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide full clerical support to Health Care Professional teams based in community settings.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all community service users, handling enquiries in person, by phone or by email in a professional, efficient and courteous manner.
  • Work within localities as part of a team, and also without direct supervision to ensure the smooth running of clinics. Provide administrative cover across all locality sites.
  • Cover across all clinic sites as required by service demands.
