A leading aerospace technology firm is seeking a Rotary Wing Flight Test Engineer to deliver high-quality instruction to flight test professionals at MOD Boscombe Down. With responsibilities including teaching ground and in-flight instructions, assessing student performance, and contributing to course development, the ideal candidate should hold a relevant degree and have at least three years of experience in flight testing. The role requires a commitment to enhancing flight safety and a collaborative attitude within a diverse team environment.
As a Rotary Wing Flight Test Engineer, you will harness your expertise to deliver high quality instruction on a wide range of topics to aspiring flight test professionals. Day-to-day, your instruction and teaching abilities will be crucial in ensuring that we continue to deliver world class training to a wide range of students from around the world, while also contributing to a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team of highly qualified Flight Test Engineer Instructors (FTEIs), Test Pilot instructors (TPIs), and Theoretical Knowledge Instructors (TKIs).

This role is 37 hours per week based at MOD Boscombe Down. Travel to other QinetiQ and customer sites will be expected.
MOD Boscombe Down is a unique operational site featuring the longest military runway in the UK. It primarily focuses on providing testing, evaluation and support services for aviation and aerospace systems, and is renowned for its extensive flight testing capabilities.
