Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000

Schedule: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (some flexibility)

Responsibilities

• Estimator position dealing with a range of roofing services across industrial, commercial and residential sectors such as: flat roofing, pitched roofing, metal & zinc roofing, lead roofing, green roofs and roof repairs
• Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements
• Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive prices
• Producing formal quotations to clients
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
• Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
• Estimating for projects ranging in value up to circa £1m

Requirements

• Must have estimating experience within the roofing market sector
• Experienced in any of the following: flat roofing, pitched roofing, metal & zinc roofing, lead roofing, green roofs and roof repairs
• Sound understanding of roofing and building legislation
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong numerical skills
• IT literate (Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel)
• Confident and articulate individual
