Job summary

A maintenance service provider is looking for a skilled General Maintenance Operative (Roofer) to join their team in North Somerset. This full-time permanent role involves executing high-quality repairs, ensuring safety and professionalism, and maintaining excellent customer service. Candidates should be qualified tradespersons in roofing, possess relevant certifications, and have experience in similar maintenance work. A valid driving license is also required. This position will require managing materials and participating in an emergency repairs rota.

Qualifications

• Qualified tradesperson in at least one core trade, ideally roofing.
• Experience and knowledge of health & safety legislation.
• Strong professional experience carrying out similar maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out works in line with trade standards and safety legislation.
• Work in occupied/unoccupied properties, liaising with tenants.
• Schedule and attend appointments to meet customer satisfaction.

Skills

Qualified tradesperson

Health & safety legislation knowledge

Experience working at height

Strong professional experience in maintenance

Valid driving licence

Education

Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualification

Good standard of education
