Qualifications

Roofer

London and South region position in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole locality. Full-time construction role posted by Sovereign Network Group (SNG).

Overview

SNG is a large housing association with almost 3000 colleagues, over 85,000 homes and over 200,000 customers across London and the South.

Responsibilities

• Complete roofing repairs and maintenance packages to SNG homes and other sites as required
• Fully competent in all aspects of roofing including:
• Pitched roofing systems
• Lead valleys
• Flashings
• Box gutters
• Full roof covering renewal
• Install and replace guttering

What you'll need

Minimum of NVQ level 2 in Roofing or equivalent OR a minimum of 5 years trade experience. Experience of working in occupied premises and strong customer service skills. Ability to use mobile technology such as iPad or PDA. Strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of health & safety best practices. Ability to work as part of a team.

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement salary through call-out and overtime when required. You must hold a full and current driving licence with at least 1 year of driving experience and be able to drive a company van. Role requires travel within the area.

The role is subject to a satisfactory licence check, essential qualifications check and a basic DBS disclosure.
