Overview

Strip Down Department: Our client are a large engineering firm who are looking to recruit semi skilled fitters to join the team. We are looking for candidates with the right attitude, who want to learn and contribute to a team. Ideally candidates must have working experience of a Continuous Improvement environment & 5 S's. You also need to be able to communicate perfectly both written and orally and have used basic hand tools.

Role and Employment Type

The role is on a long term temporary basis with potential to lead to a permanent job. All candidates will be expected to pass a drugs and alcohol test for the role.

Fitter

The role is on a 2 shift system Monday to Friday. The shift depends on which line you will work on.

Hours of Work

Rotating weeks.

Mornings: Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:00; Friday 06:00 - 12:00.

Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 22:00; Friday 12:00 - 18:00.

Training and Requirements

FULL TRAINING GIVEN TO THE RIGHT CANDIDATES. Candidates must pass a drugs & alcohol test before starting.
