Our client, a well-established Insurtech, is on a mission to make financial decision‑making simple, accessible, and effective for everyone. They are seeking a Risk Manager to embed a robust risk and control framework across, aligned with the overarching Risk Management Framework.

Role Purpose:

This role will support, challenge, and oversee business areas to ensure risks are effectively identified, assessed, monitored, managed, and reported. It will also provide expert risk insight to inform decision‑making and help strengthen risk culture and governance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and embed methods, processes, techniques, and reporting that ensure a robust risk and control framework is in place.
  • Proactively engage with the business to support ongoing management of risks and controls, identify emerging risks, and provide tailored, expert risk guidance.
  • Provide Risk Owners and Sub‑Risk Owners with detailed, value‑adding insights into their risk and control environment.
  • Act as an effective business partner—offering constructive challenge and support while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote and champion a strong Risk & Compliance culture.
  • Deputise at meetings and committees when required.
  • Strengthen overall risk culture by ensuring risk management principles are well understood and embedded throughout the organisation.
