Job summary

A leading asset management firm is seeking a Business Controls Advisor to support the COO team with risk management and control assurance. In this hybrid role, you will identify and resolve risks, improve reporting capabilities, and work collaboratively across different business functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a basic understanding of risk management, and a willingness to learn new tools like Power BI. Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of risk management.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Strong communication abilities in both written and oral formats.

Responsibilities

  • Implement RL's Risk Management Framework across the COO function.
  • Identify, resolve and escalate new risks or issues.
  • Lead on improving the team's MI and reporting capabilities.
  • Support senior stakeholders with risk and controls data requests.
  • Help incorporate business resilience activity into risk-related reporting.
