Qualifications

• Registered nurse or healthcare professional (NMC/HCPC etc).
• Willing to work towards Prescribing qualification.
• Evidence of recent and continuing professional development relevant to recent area of work.

Responsibilities

• Independently run nurse-led clinics initiating and following up patients on rheumatology treatment.
• Support patients to understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
• Provide specialist advice and education to patients.

Skills

Good organisational skills

Evidence of good interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently to manage workload

Can effectively use computers and software such as Word/Excel

Presentation skills or willingness to learn

Education

Degree in nursing, relevant specialty or equivalent experience

Current NMC or other relevant professional registration

Experience in working with patients with Rheumatological conditions
