Contract: Permanent or Temporary (preference for Permanent)

Service: Specialist Addiction Treatment & Recovery

Are you a compassionate and motivated Nurse with a passion for helping individuals rebuild their lives?

Clouds House is seeking a dedicated RMN or RGN to join our respected Substance Misuse service, supporting clients through detox, recovery and long-term change.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist therapeutic environment, leading and supporting a committed clinical team.

The Role

As part of our nursing team, you will deliver safe, person-centred care to individuals with addiction and substance misuse needs. You’ll work closely with our Therapeutic and Clinical teams, providing essential medical monitoring, assessments and recovery-focused support.

You will:
  • Carry out clinical tasks including ECGs, observations, detox monitoring and risk assessments
  • Support and lead HCAs and agency staff throughout your shift
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and utilise IT systems confidently
  • Contribute to a positive, structured recovery environment
  • Work collaboratively with our Substance Misuse Clinical Manager and wider MDT
Shift Patterns

Nursing Shifts (7 hours):

Long Days: 08:00 – 21:30 (1hr unpaid)

Nights: 21:00 – 08:30 (1hr unpaid)

Weekend shifts required

HCA Shifts (Band 2, Agency Included):

08:00 – 15:00

14:00 – 21:30

08:00 – 21:30

21:00 – 08:30

Average: 1213 shifts per month

What We’re Looking For:
  • Registered Nurse (RMN or RGN) with valid NMC pin
  • Experience in addiction, detox or substance misuse (essential)
  • Strong leadership and team‑coordination ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident IT user
  • Passion for delivering high‑quality, recovery‑focused care
