Job description

Anderson Green Ltd is a leading privately owned Building Services Consultancy and we have a permanent vacancy for an experienced Revit Technician based within our Nottingham or Leeds Offices.

Within this role you will have the opportunity to:

The Role:

The successful candidate will provide technical support working collaboratively in a multi discipline team consisting of Buildings Services Designers, Building Physicist and Document Controllers on a wide range of projects across numerous market sectors, delivering services from feasibility through to detailed and fully co-ordinated design for installation purposes, RIBA stages 0 to 5.

Duties will include:
  • Collaborate with Building Service Engineers to produce co-ordinated drawings
  • Delivery of projects working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Co-ordination of Building Services using REVIT MEP
  • Create and amending MEP Families, Objects, Tags, Annotations
  • Create legends, schedules and templates
  • Amend drawings in both Revit MEP & AutoCAD
  • Meet the requirements of projects within specified time frames
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current industry regulatory and design standards
  • Give guidance to junior staff and apprentices
  • Follow BIM Protocols
  • Liaise professionally with clients, professional teams, contractors and staff of all levels
Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
  • Proficient operator of Revit MEP CAD/AutoCAD packages and associated computer software
  • Ideally you will have a background within the MEP industry or experience in a similar role
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties
  • Organised and able to work to a high standard against agreed timescales
  • Be a team player, but able to operate independently
  • Ideally ONC/HNC in relevant discipline
  • Full time employment (40hours per week)
