Overview

We’re supporting a growing structural engineering team in their search for a skilled Revit Engineer/Technician. This role offers the opportunity to work on a varied mix of structural engineering projects, develop your Revit expertise, and collaborate closely with a supportive team of structural engineers.

The Role

As a Revit Engineer, you’ll produce detailed structural Revit models and coordinated technical drawings for both new build and refurbishment projects. Working alongside structural engineers and wider project teams, you’ll help deliver accurate, efficient design information across multiple project stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate structural Revit models and drawings.
  • Assist with drawings and detailing for steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures.
  • Coordinate Revit models with structural engineers, architects, and external design teams.
  • Maintain drawing standards and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Support senior technicians and engineers with technical detailing and project delivery.
  • Attend internal design meetings and provide progress updates.
  • Contribute to improving Revit standards and workflows within the structural team.
  • Manage drawing revisions and project information to support coordinated project delivery.
  • Work to agreed deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Required Experience
  • Revit experience within a structural engineering environment (essential).
  • Ability to model steel, concrete, timber and masonry structural elements.
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations, structural standards and construction methods.
  • Experience using AutoCAD (beneficial).
  • Exposure to Tekla Structures or Tekla drafting (advantageous but not essential).
  • Strong accuracy, communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, design-focused team.
