Job description

Join a leading training and recruitment company specialising in energy efficiency and social housing projects. We are looking for a qualified Retrofit Assessor to support our Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) initiatives across Rugby and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work on energy efficiency assessments, PAS 2035 compliance, and retrofit solutions for social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site retrofit assessments in line with PAS 2035 standards
  • Collect detailed property data and undertake occupancy assessments
  • Produce accurate RdSAP and RIS assessment reports for social housing properties
  • Collaborate with Retrofit Coordinators and Designers to deliver whole-house retrofit strategies
  • Ensure all assessments meet SHDF and domestic retrofit compliance standards
  • Maintain records and upload assessments using Elmhurst Energy systems
  • Liaise professionally with residents and site teams
Requirements:
  • Registered Retrofit Assessor with Elmhurst Energy
  • Strong knowledge of PAS 2035, retrofit standards, and energy efficiency assessments
  • Experience in public sector or social housing projects (desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and report writing skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site visits
