Overview

Customer Team Leader
Location: The Red Lion, Hawarden Road, Hope, Wrexham, LL12 9NG
Pay: £13.99 per hour
Contract: 20 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview
Full, paid training provided. You can apply for this role using your mobile device (no CV needed!). You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team leader at Co-op, as you'll need to authorise age-related sales.

We're looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op. What you'll do
  • Friendly and thoughtful service - provide friendly, welcoming, easy, helpful and thoughtful service every day, often taking ownership for managing the store and handling challenging situations.
  • Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued and respected.
  • Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational.
  • Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to make shopping a great experience for customers.
  • Support your store manager by deputising when they're not working and delivering a variety of HR processes.
  • Lead the way when introducing new products and services in your store; work closely with your team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback.
  • Build relationships and get involved in the local community, supporting the Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
