Overview

Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail?

If so, at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in the IV15 9PP area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Please note that although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

Role and Location

Role based across Tesco Dingwall and other stores, working across a variety of categories including Cosmetics, Gift Cards, and Entertainment. This role will involve work across multiple categories with main hours related to Cosmetics in Tesco Dingwall and additional hours in Gift Cards and Entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Come in to ensure fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well-stocked.
• Follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency with merchandising standards.
• Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and offers.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application, acting as the eyes and ears in the stores.
• Be comfortable with a bit of manual handling and moving products from the warehouse to the shop floor.
• Be willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra).
• Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about tasks.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car is a bonus.
