Overview

The company currently wishes to recruit a highly skilled, motivated and driven individual to manage the Dunbia Dungannon Retail Maintenance Team. This represents an excellent opportunity to further a developed maintenance career within a dynamic, fast – moving production environment. Reporting directly to the NI Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Responsibilities
  • Managing, planning and coordinating workloads and projects to maintain highest standards possible
  • Managing the performance of a multi-disciplinary team which works across 3 shifts
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed and adhered to
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Ensuring preventative and reactive maintenance programs are followed to reduce downtime
  • Controlling the costs within the department
  • Operationally focused on delivering results
Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • 5 years’ recent experience within a similar role in a maintenance environment, preferably within a food/meat manufacturing industry.
  • Time served or third level qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline
  • Previous experience of managing a large engineering team
  • Recent experience of delivering large projects in a complex industrial and technical environment with a working knowledge of project management techniques
  • Excellent communication skills, accompanied by leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to build, mentor and motivate
  • Highly motivated and proactive with the ability to multi task
  • IT literate

Desirable Criteria

  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
