Overview

Retail Assistant - Part Time

Location: Hanley, Staffordshire

Contract: Permanent part-time, 16 hours across 4 days per week (including weekends).

Hours: 16 hours across 4 days weekly.

Pay: £10.10 per hour (ages 16-20) or £12.31 per hour (ages 21+).

Responsibilities

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and greeting.
• Help customers find items and provide fast, friendly service at the tills, including packing and a courteous goodbye.
• Handle stock with care, assist with deliveries, and stock the freezers and shelves for customer availability.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep shops safe, clean and tidy.

You will need

• A friendly, positive, hardworking attitude.
• Enjoy being busy and flexible to cover shifts as needed; rota planned three weeks in advance.
• Reliability as part of a small team; dependability on shifts.
• Flexibility in shift patterns when colleagues are on leave or holidays.
