Overview

Restaurant Team Member – Part Time 6 Hours per Week Including Weekends. Fully flexible. Temporary.

At British Garden Centres not only do we aim to deliver a great experience in our centres, but we go above and beyond in creating an exceptional dining experience too. We have a great opportunity for Restaurant Team Members to join our friendly Restaurant, bringing our food and restaurant to life for our guests to remember. Must be fully flexible, hours involve weekend work. May be required to use a computerised tilling system. Will also involve usual duties associated with working in a busy restaurant. Must be friendly and confident for this customer facing role. Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team, and adapt to the demands and speed of the business at peak trading.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance and support to restaurant staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Greet customers in a polite manner.
  • Food preparation.
  • Taking food and drink orders to serve customers.
  • Maintain and manage premises with excellent hygiene practices, which may include washing up duties.
  • Ensure customers have a pleasant experience in the restaurant.
Skills required

  • Good time management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Barista trained is an advantage but not essential.
