Job Title: Residential Therapeutic Care Worker

Location: Goole

Salary: £27,303 + overtime

Hours: 40 hours per week including nights, weekends and bank holidays

The Homes: Two 4‑bedroom houses with four established children.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety, security and well‑being of all children at all times.
  • Provide parenting‑style care – support bedtime routines, encourage early‑morning play and games.
  • Deliver calm, reassuring care and use the therapeutic model to help children stay calm during dysregulated moments.
  • Assist the day‑time team with keeping the home clean, cosy and running smoothly.
  • Get to know each child – their likes, needs and how best to support them.
  • Keep clear, up‑to‑date records.
  • Act as a team player and contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Prioritise your continual development and remain open to learning new skills.
