Job Title: Residential Therapeutic Care Worker
Location: Goole
Salary: £27,303 + overtime
Hours: 40 hours per week including nights, weekends and bank holidays
The Homes: Two 4‑bedroom houses with four established children.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety, security and well‑being of all children at all times.
- Provide parenting‑style care – support bedtime routines, encourage early‑morning play and games.
- Deliver calm, reassuring care and use the therapeutic model to help children stay calm during dysregulated moments.
- Assist the day‑time team with keeping the home clean, cosy and running smoothly.
- Get to know each child – their likes, needs and how best to support them.
- Keep clear, up‑to‑date records.
- Act as a team player and contribute to a positive working environment.
- Prioritise your continual development and remain open to learning new skills.

- Driver’s licence – a full UK licence is essential for school runs and activities.
- Safe to work with children – an enhanced DBS and child barred list check is required.
