Overview

A reputable and award-winning legal practice is seeking an experienced Residential Legal Assistant to join its busy Residential Property department. This role supports the delivery of a consistent, well-organised, and high-quality service to clients and works closely with senior members of the residential team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage post-completion requirements including HMLR registrations and requisitions
  • Prepare and submit Stamp Duty returns
  • Liaise with estate agents, lenders, and borrowers
  • Request redemption figures
  • Assist with the preparation of sale contract packs
  • Support reporting to clients and issuing contracts for signature
  • Submit property searches
  • Support the Head of Department in maintaining lender panel status
  • Maintain accurate and well-organised case files
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all work
  • Communicate professionally with clients and third parties
  • Manage workload effectively within a busy residential team
