Residential Conveyancer – Exciting Opportunity at a Well-Established Firm

TSR Legal are currently working with a respected and long-established legal practice that is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to handle a varied caseload with minimal supervision, in a role that offers stability, autonomy, and excellent benefits.

The Role:

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion. This includes:

  1. Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  2. Remortgages and transfers of equity
  3. Right to buy and shared ownership schemes
  4. Lease extensions

You’ll be responsible for progressing matters in a timely and cost-effective manner, while maintaining excellent client care and communication throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Running a full conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision
  2. Liaising directly with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders
  3. Building and maintaining professional relationships
  4. Meeting agreed fee income targets
  5. Managing your own workload and ensuring quality and productivity standards are met

About You:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  1. A qualification as a Solicitor, CILEx, or Licensed Conveyancer – or equivalent experience managing your own conveyancing caseload
  2. A strong background in residential conveyancing with recent, hands-on experience
  3. Solid understanding of client case management systems and fee earning
  4. Excellent organisational skills and a process-driven mindset
  5. A commercial outlook and appreciation for business targets
  6. A commitment to providing outstanding client service
  7. Confidence using IT systems, including web-based case management tools
  8. Professional communication skills, both in person and over the phone
