Job summary

A residential childcare provider is seeking a Night Practitioner (Waking Watch) to join their team in Lytham St Annes. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to children and young people using an integrated therapeutic approach. No prior qualifications or experience are needed, as full training will be provided. The role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of residents while adhering to safeguarding measures. This position is permanent, full-time, offering £13 - £14 per hour, with a shift pattern of 3 on, 3 off.

About the Role

Therapeutic Care is a residential childcare provider based in Lancashire. At our core, we believe in supporting our teams through learning and development to be able to deliver high quality care with therapeutic approach to children and young people, inspire confidence and help them reach their potential. We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Night Practitioner (Waking Watch) to join our small team in Lytham. As a Night Practitioner you will provide high quality care to children and young people in our services using integrated therapeutic approach. No qualifications or experience required as we provide full training to support you in your role!

Job Types: Full-time (35 hours per week), Permanent Pay: £13 - £14 per hour Working hours: 10pm to 8am Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off rolling shift pattern We offer casual work for this location, if this is more suited to you, please apply. Additional pay: - Overtime paid at £1 extra

  • It is a requirement that the postholder remains awake at all times to carry out duties within the Home and to be able to respond to the needs of the young people in residence at all times.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people, as well as protecting vulnerable individuals from any form of abuse, is a paramount focus throughout all of Therapeutic Care's services. We are fully dedicated to effectively promoting safeguarding measures across our organisation. This role is subject to necessary background checks, including an Enhanced DBS.
