A children's residential care organization is seeking a Residential Childcare Support Worker to provide high-standard childcare to young individuals in a residential home. The role is flexible, allowing for ad-hoc hours, and requires a QCF level 3 qualification in Children and Young People. Candidates should be capable of working independently, have good organizational and communication skills, and must hold a full manual driving license.
Residential Childcare Support Worker (Sessional/Casual)
Location: Chedzoy, Somerset
Contract: Shift Pattern – ad-hoc cover
Salary: £13.56-£14.20 (dependent on qualification) per hour plus sleep in shifts when required

Based in a children's residential home you will be working with young people with challenging behaviour, and you will need to be flexible, resilient, honest and well organised, as well as committed to providing a high standard of childcare to help young people achieve the best possible outcomes.
As a Residential Child Care Worker you will work within the residential home environment with young people who may display challenging behaviour. You will be required to be flexible, resilient, honest and well organised, and to provide a high standard of childcare to support young people in achieving positive outcomes.
