Resident Services Assistant - Brighton - £29,350 + 10% Discretionary Bonus

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £29,350 + 10% discretionary bonus

Working Hours: Morning shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm; Afternoon shift: 11:30am – 8:00pm; Rota-based, including 2 weekends per month

About the Role

We’re representing a forward-thinking Build to Rent operator seeking a Resident Services Assistant to join their vibrant Brighton scheme of 229 apartments. This is a customer-facing, community driven role ideal for someone with strong service skills and a passion for creating great resident experiences.

You’ll be the heartbeat of the development—handling lettings, property management support, and social media engagement. While prior BTR experience is a bonus, it’s not essential. If you’re teachable, proactive, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional front-of-house service to residents and visitors.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and resident enquiries using the RADAR system.
  • Coordinate parcel deliveries, key management, and maintenance logging.
  • Support lettings activity including viewings, check-ins, and deposit returns.
  • Conduct regular building walks to identify H&S and security issues.
  • Assist with resident events and community engagement.
  • Handle basic social media updates and resident communications.
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation.
Qualifications & What We’re Looking For
  • Strong customer service background (hospitality, retail, property, etc.).
  • Willingness to learn the ins and outs of Build to Rent, experience in Build to Rent is preferable.
  • Confident communicator with a proactive mindset.
  • Comfortable working weekends and flexible shifts.
  • Organised, detail oriented, and tech savvy.
  • Creative flair for resident engagement and social media.
