Job summary

We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable pharmacists who can demonstrate that they meet our Trust values. You must be able to work as part of the Pharmacy, and wider multi‑disciplinary team, to deliver excellent pharmaceutical care and services to our patients.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide pharmaceutical services as required in each section of the rotation.
  • Provide a clinical pharmacy service to allocated wards.
  • Participate in the Resident first‑on‑call Service to Addenbrooke's Hospital and other hospitals as required.
  • Undertake postgraduate studies appropriate to the level of competence and availability of funding.

Job responsibilities

You will receive guidance and feedback to aid your development as well as gaining additional support via our clinical supervision programme. We run regular pharmacist teaching sessions within the department which includes dedicated rotational pharmacist teaching sessions delivered on a variety of topics by specialist pharmacists as well as external speakers.

We fund a range of postgraduate pharmacy practice diplomas to support our pharmacists through the first few years of their careers; all pharmacists undertaking these programmes are assigned a personal tutor from within the department.
