Your Role

You’ll support the Residence Manager and Residence Coordinator in running a smooth, efficient department while ensuring top-notch customer service for our students. As a live in role, your focus will be on creating a welcoming and lively home from home environment, maintaining EF's high standards, ensuring health and safety protocols are followed. You’ll also assist with administrative tasks, help with student inquiries, and liaise with local suppliers, all while promoting the best image of our school within the community.

This is a fixed-term, full-time position running from October 2025 – October 2026. The position involves working on shifts with varying hours over a 5 day week, including weekends. As a live-in role, free accommodation is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Live in EF residential accommodation and oversee comfort, safety,and conduct of studentson andout of school hoursensuring residenceadvisorduties such as room checks, curfew, and activities in the residence are in place
  • To support theResidenceManager and team in running an efficient department
  • To ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfactionis delivered to students
  • Ensureweekends are run smoothlyand residence assistants are supported
  • To support students in their daily life and enable them to achieve the best experience and highest learning possible
  • To organize work processes and delegate duties betweenresidentialadvisors
  • To ensure standards of roomsandquality ofservicearemaintained by conducting weekly building checks, checking,and updating posters and signs when appropriate
  • To advocate for a funand livelyenvironmentwithinthe residence
  • Welcome new students and assist and departing students,
  • Promote activities
  • To assist with administration tasksby havingaccurate lists withimportant information to support the teamand suppliers
  • To assist students withgeneralenquiriesand take appropriate action in the event of student misconduct,addressing concerns with relevant school staff
  • To ensureSafeguarding procedures are in place andconcerns are shared with relevant school staff
  • To follow EF procedures and takeresponsibility for fire safety
  • School emergency phone duty on rota basis
