A leading hotel chain in England is seeking a Reservations Coordinator for a six-month fixed-term contract. You will handle enquiries, maximize revenue from group bookings, and be the first contact for customers. Ideal candidates are results-driven with strong communication skills, and may have previous hotel sales experience. We're looking for a Reservations Coordinator to join our team. The role reports directly to one of our Customer Excellence Managers and is part of our team based at the Commercial Hub in Crick (NN6 7XR). Please note, this role is a six month fixed term contract.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling enquiries received via phone, email and other online channels, seeking to secure business on every interaction. You will play an integral part in maximising revenue and conversion of all group reservations opportunities for our hotel portfolio. You will be the first point of contact for customers; your goal will be to build connections with customers and deliver customer excellence by meeting their needs. It will also be vital to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external.
If you\'re the kind of person who is results driven, customer focused, has excellent verbal and written communication, organised and can prioritise your workload, we want you to join us! Plus, you\'ll learn all about our hotels across the UK and become fully conversant with all facilities, services, and special promotions offered by the hotels. You can then use this information to maximise hotel sales.
This role would be perfect for someone who has worked in a hotel sales/reservations office and is ready to take the next step to a multi-property role. We would also be delighted to talk to anyone who has worked in a customer-facing role before in any industry. And if you\'re good at selling to people, having meaningful conversations, and building relationships, that\'s even better.
A member of the Customer Excellence team will be in touch to understand what you are looking for in your next role. If successful at this stage, you will be invited in for a face-to-face interview with a Customer Excellence Manager and to have a tour of the office.
