A leading academic institution in Nottingham is looking for a Research Manager to support clinical research delivery. The role involves managing contracts, ensuring compliance with GCP, and leading the research team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical research management and the ability to mentor junior staff. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a prominent health service's research portfolio.
We are pleased to offer an opportunity to join our growing research team in a new role of Research Manager. Based within Cripps Health Centre and working alongside the research and primary care teams, the Research Manager will support the leadership and coordination of the delivery of clinical research activities within the practice and our spoke sites, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory standards, and sponsor requirements. This role involves strategic oversight, financial management, operational management, and team leadership to support a diverse portfolio of commercial and non-commercial studies.
The University of Nottingham Health Service (UNHS), based at Cripps Health Centre, is one of the largest single-site General Practices in the UK with a registered population of circa 42,000 patients and a practice team of around 100. UNHS has been undertaking clinical research for around 15 years and is recognised as one of the leading Primary Care-led research sites in the country. We deliver studies across a wide range of clinical areas and work with a range of sponsors, CROs and academic teams. This is a great opportunity to be part of the next phase in our development as we continue to build our research team.
