Job description

Up to £52.00 per hour Umbrella / £38.88 per hour PAYE

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Repair Design Engineer dealing within wing repairs in Filton. The Repair Design Engineer will be responsible for Authoring, Leading and executing repair tasks within a small team. The individual is subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake the related work.

Responsibilities

• ? Evaluate daily customer requests regarding structural damage on in-service aircraft.
• ? Describe all the actions needed to repair aircraft via Structural Repair Instructions.
• ? Providing Structural Repair Support: Leveraging experience and technical expertise to address complex structural repair matters. This includes devising innovative solutions for both minor and major repairs requested by customers ensuring high standards of safety and reliability.
• ? Utilizing a deep understanding of historical damage and repair scenarios to investigate and identify the existence of similar previous cases. This ensures the provision of consistent, well-informed support and enhances the efficiency of problem resolution processes.
