Job Summary

Applicants are invited to apply for a one-year fixed term role (with likely extension), as Renal Lead for the South West Maternal Medicine Network. The role would suit an applicant with a CCT in obstetrics with a strong interest in the care of renal patients.

The role attracts 0.25 PAs and commences in November 2025 for 1 year initially.

We will be reviewing all SWMNN Network lead roles in November 2026, so there will likely be opportunity to continue with this role beyond November 2026.

Main Duties of the Job

• Demonstrating leadership in renal maternal medicine, including education, care plans.
• Liaising with SWMMN obstetric, medical, anaesthetic, midwifery, renal and governance leads about renal patients and care plans.
• Attending Nephrology MDT to discuss renal patient care plans as required.
