Job Title: Remote Video Editor (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break

Salary: $2,080 USD per month (~$13/hr)

We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our client's team. If you’re passionate about creating engaging videos and branding, know social media inside out, and can help them analyze performance data to improve their content and customer messaging, this role is for you. They post to social media for their customers but also for tradespeople; uplifting and elevating the trades to show expertise and professionalism. Their goal in the industry is to BE ICONIC and it’s vitally important to our brand to showcase who they are and what they do through video.
Responsibilities:
  • Edit a variety of videos — service calls, maintenance, and installations in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, customer testimonials, TikTok clips, podcasts, shortform videos, b-roll, longform documentary-style videos, “ridealongs” with teammates, behind-the-scenes clips
  • Organize and manage raw footage, add transitions, captions, music, color grade, and effects to create polished final products
  • Post videos when needed across social media platforms and assist with writing captions and selecting hashtags to maximize reach
  • Provide creative ideas and stay up-to-date with social media trends to keep content fresh and engaging
  • Track video performance metrics when needed and provide insights to help improve future content
  • Contribute actively in team meetings, daily one-on-one video meetings, and collaborate closely with other teammates
  • Manage and keep up with the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of all video content
  • Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and align with brand guidelines
Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:
  • Minimum 5 years of video editing experience
  • Proficiency and expertise with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for video content
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and participation in team meetings
  • Ability to work independently, manage time well, and meet deadlines
  • Basic graphic design or motion graphics skills are a plus. (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing footage, multiple projects, and content calendars
  • Comfort with data tools like Google Sheets for light reporting and analysis
