Location: Norwich NR4 (Office Based)
Salary: Up to 35000 (depending on experience) benefits
Hours: Full-time Permanent Monday to Friday
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Remote Vehicle Programming Technician to join our clients team in their head office in Norwich. This is a unique position within the motor trade ideal for someone who combines a passion for cars with an interest in technology and IT. The role involves carrying out remote vehicle programming and diagnostic work using manufacturer systems in our clients modern office at Norwich. You will be responsible for performing ADAS calibrations programming work and identifying faults in a careful and methodical manner always maintaining a high level of professionalism when communicating with customers and colleagues.
Our client is looking for a motor vehicle technician / mechanic with experience in a main dealer workshop ideally around three years although this is not essential. A good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and manufacturer-specific equipment is required along with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A full UK driving licence and the ability to work from our Norwich site is essential. If you have not previously used ADAS equipment full training will be provided to ensure you are fully confident before working independently.
