Job summary

A leading cybersecurity consultancy is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Architect to drive secure technical solutions for high-profile Defence and Government programmes. The role, which can be performed fully remotely, offers the chance to influence security strategy and tackle complex challenges while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. Candidates should have over 7 years of experience in client-facing technical security, deep infrastructure knowledge, and a desire to stay at the forefront of cybersecurity developments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering client-facing security solutions, preferably in the public sector.
• Deep experience in infrastructure security solutions, particularly in Windows, Linux, and SQL environments.
• Strong knowledge of security principles for private and public cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture and assurance throughout the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Guide clients on security standards including NIST and Secure by Design.
• Build trusted client relationships and ensure technical delivery.

Skills

Client-facing technical security delivery

Infrastructure experience (Windows, Linux, SQL)

Knowledge of private/public cloud security

Experience with JSP440, JSP604/453

Strong understanding of Secure by Design principles

CISSP

Education

Technical degree or equivalent
