Salary: Up to 40,000 + Bonus

Location: Remote (UK-based)

Hours: Full-time, flexible working hours (Monday-Friday)

About the Company

Our client is an ambitious EdTech start-up that has seen significant success in the Middle East and has just completed a highly successful first year in the UK market. Their innovative AI-powered marking solution supports schools, colleges, and universities by reducing marking workloads and improving assessment consistency.

They are now focused on expanding their UK client base and are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Representative to help drive this next phase of growth.

The Role

As a Remote Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in building brand presence and securing new partnerships across the UK education sector. This is a flexible, remote role suited to an EdTech sales professional who understands the education landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow the UK client base across schools, colleges, and universities
  • Generate new business through outbound and inbound sales activity
  • Present and demonstrate an AI-driven assessment solution to key stakeholders
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with education providers
  • Work closely with the leadership, sales, and product teams
About You
  • Proven experience in EdTech sales (essential)
  • Strong understanding of the UK education sector (Schools, FE and/or HE)
  • Experience selling SaaS or AI-based products
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a start-up environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Able to work flexibly within Monday-Friday
