Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy based in the UK is looking for a CAD Technician proficient in AutoCAD and Vehicle Tracking. This role can be performed remotely, although occasional travel to Edinburgh for team meetings is required. The ideal candidate will have a HNC in Computer Aided Design or Civil Engineering, alongside at least 3 years of experience in the industry, particularly within consultancy environments, ideally with exposure to renewables projects. A commitment to effective project delivery while working independently is essential.

Qualifications

• HNC in Computer Aided Design or Civil Engineering is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years using Civil 3D is required.
• Background in Transport Planning or Roads Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet client specifications as per project requirements.
• Prepare designs and drawings as per project quality standards.
• Manage workload and ensure information from briefs is complete.
