About our Nursery Glasgow Oakwood Oakwood has a capacity of 172 and is situated three miles south of the city. It is made up of two buildings: Oak Cottage, a purpose-built facility for children aged 0 to 3, designed to support children at each age and stage of development, and the Pre-School Centre, housed in a large Victorian villa and home to children aged 3-5 to challenge children and prepare them for school. Oakwood nursery also provides after-school care for children aged 5 to 12 years old. The rooms are bright, airy and alluring. The garden is spacious and exciting, developing children's confidence, self-esteem and physical skills, allowing children to expand their love of the outdoors. The team has worked hard to create an environment which facilitates a high standard of care and education, through high quality learning experiences which ensure children are eager learners fully equipped for their school adventures.
