Role Details

• Role: Relief Care Assistant
• Hours: Ad-hoc to cover absence, holidays etc
• Shift pattern of AM shifts (starting from 7am) and PM shifts (ending at 10pm)
• Salary: £13.61 per hour
• Location: Wixams Retirement Village, Bedford Road, Bedford, MK42 6EA

As a Relief Care Assistant, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

• Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities
• Promote and support the physical, emotional and well‑being of our residents
• Encourage independence and self‑belief
• Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy

• Hold a care certificate or be willing to undertake a care qualification
• Personable, an effective communicator and a team player
• Passionate about delivering a quality care service
