Are you passionate about improving asset performance and reliability? We’re looking for a hands-on Reliability Technician to join our Waste Water Recycling team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our treatment processes.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Conducting condition monitoring and data collection (vibration, oil analysis, etc.)
  • Performing motor/pump alignments using laser alignment tools
  • Supporting predictive and preventive maintenance programs
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control issues
  • Assisting with root cause analysis and failure investigations
  • Collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to improve asset reliability
  • Maintaining accurate records using SAP and Salesforce
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business

You will be working within our Proactive Improvement & Maintenance Team which has been established with the goal of creating a new inhouse capability that will proactively prevent pollutions and enhance the health of our pump station assets in line with newly established asset standards.

The team will focus on undertaking asset improvements at our sites, like adding generator connection points, auto restarts, improving pumping controls, pressure monitors, over pumping connections, and installing upgraded pumps and pipework, working with, and supporting our existing operational teams across Waste Water Recycling.

You'll be covering the West region (Powys, Shropshire, Staffordshire & West Midlands). With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, working Monday – Friday with on-call responsibilities

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in proactive maintenance and fault diagnostics
  • Strong background with industrial equipment (gearboxes, pumps, hydraulics)
  • Understanding of control systems and mechanical installation standards
  • Comfortable using IT systems and data analysis tools

Qualifications
  • Minimum BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Desirable: Certification in vibration/electrical signature analysis (CAT I or II), IOSH Health & Safety, Lean Management
  • A valid UK driving licence (regional travel may be required)
