Overview

Rehabilitation Worker (Sensory Service) – Location: Perceval House, Ealing (hybrid – WFH + office/visits). Rate: £40.60 per hour (umbrella). Hours: 35 per week (full-time, 5 days – condensed working may be negotiable after 4–6 weeks). Contract: 3 months (likely extension). Caseload: Adults with sensory impairment.

About the Role Pertemps are recruiting for a Qualified Rehab Worker (Visual Impairment) to join the Sensory Service in Ealing. This is a fantastic hybrid opportunity working with adults who have sensory impairments, providing essential support to promote independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist rehabilitation programmes for adults with sensory impairments
  • Provide mobility training and advise on the use of equipment and adaptations
  • Conduct home visits and assessments to ensure safe, tailored solutions
  • Work collaboratively within the Sensory Service team, attending meetings as required
  • Support service users to maximise independence and quality of life
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Rehab Worker for people with visual impairment
  • Valid DBS disclosure
  • Demonstrable experience in mobility training and knowledge of equipment provision
Working Pattern
  • Hybrid working available (mix of WFH, office attendance, and home visits)
  • Full-time 35 hrs per week (5 days). Flexibility for condensed working may be considered after 4–6 weeks
