Qualifications

  • Hold a qualification as a Solicitor, Barrister or FILEX.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of law in one of the areas within regulatory, licensing and housing.
  • Have working knowledge of Court and Tribunal procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on law related to licensing, housing, environmental health, and other matters.
  • Attend Council Committees and Court to provide legal support.
  • Manage performance of staff and engage with external clients.

Skills

Knowledge of law in regulatory, licensing, and housing portfolios
Effective written communication
Ability to interact positively with colleagues and clients
Understanding of Court and Tribunal procedures
