We are offering the opportunity for a proactive, dedicated Night RVN, to join the Vet-24 Night team based at Village Vet St Albans. Rota: 4 nights on 8 nights off rolling rota. The role is hands on and duties will include but are not limited to:
We are recruiting for a Tier 2/3 RVN to join the night nurse team, where you will be working alongside the Veterinary Surgeon to support effective management of overnight and urgent care patients. Our Nurse Career Framework also supports an industry‑leading pay scale of bands and associated tiers to reflect appropriate remuneration for the skill set held while identifying future goals and opportunities. Our nurse teams are actively supported in their career development as part of the Linnaeus Nursing Career Framework, which is designed to support career progression and development via clinically focussed pathways and/or a people leadership pathway. CPD including advanced qualifications is actively encouraged as this facilitates development of skills for veterinary nursing teams.
Village Vet St Albans, (part of Linnaeus) is a well‑established small animal hospital, which serves as a 24‑hour emergency clinic for many practices in Hertfordshire. The hospital is well equipped with full diagnostic facilities, an on‑site laboratory, separate cat/dog wards, and a theatre suite. Our 24hr facilities ensure continuity of care for our patients and provide a highly stimulating and rewarding caseload.
Salary £34,297 for 33.9 hours on an annualised contract
