Overview

Medivet is a leading veterinary care provider with practices across the UK, including a 24‑hour centre and referral centres. Join our Hinckley Roston Drive clinic – a silver‑standard cat‑friendly practice with dedicated cat waiting area, cat and dog wards and an isolation facility. This full‑time role (40 hours per week, 1 in 6 weekends at Leamington Spa 24‑hour) offers a starting salary of £29,912 per year (estimated).

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team.
  • Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients.
  • Support surgeries and procedures, completing all pre‑ and post‑procedure activity.
  • Lead, manage and promote nurse‑led appointments and Schedule 3 surgeries.
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care.
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
  • Complete patient transfers to out‑of‑hours or enhanced care.
  • Dispense and check medication.
  • Deliver professional excellence, implementing and complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
  • Inspire your team, sharing new or evolving practice standards and changes to processes.
  • Engage, coach and develop your team.
  • Pro‑actively support and share clinical best practice across practices and the wider Medivet community.
Qualifications
  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Experience delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Able to confidently lead a clinical team.
  • Experience implementing a progressive clinical culture through nurse clinics and nurse consultations.
  • Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
