Overview

Registered Paediatric Nurses – Kingston upon Thames.

Pulse are looking for registered, highly motivated and talented Band 5 & 6 Paediatric Nurses in Kingston upon Thames, South West London. We understand that paediatric nursing can be challenging. We aim to remove administrative hassle (such as booking shifts and completing timesheets) and provide support through tough times so you can focus on delivering care. Flexible shifts are available from Monday to Sunday, with block bookings up to 3 months in advance. PAYE £28.50 - £33.50.

What you will be doing as a Registered Paediatric Nurse
  • Assess, evaluate, implement and review care for patients aged 0-18 years.
  • Administer medications, draw blood, and give childhood vaccinations following age-appropriate guidelines.
  • Receive handovers and manage a caseload of patients.
  • Encourage families to be involved in the care of their child.
  • Provide high levels of care while learning and applying new skills.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and tidy ward environment.
Requirements
  • Valid NMC registration
  • At least 6 months of recent UK NHS experience within the Paediatric sector
  • Ability to provide a clinical reference and cover the last three years of employment
  • Enhanced DBS or be able to apply for one
  • Right to work in the UK (proof required)
