Registered Paediatric Nurse

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Registered Paediatric Nurse to work on Sunflower Ward at Royal Derby Hospital.

We are a elective surgery and medical day case ward caring for patients for a wide variety of specialities including ENT, Orthopaedic, Hands, Max fax and General surgery.

Main duties of the job

Sunflower Ward has a committed philosophy of Family Centred Care where parents/carers are actively encouraged to be involved in their baby/child's care with support and education from the nursing staff.

Preferably applicants should hold RSCN or RN child branch qualification alongside relevant experience. However, we will also consider applications from newly qualified nurses and nursing associates.

We will support you through a wide range of in-house study days and training, we work very closely with our clinical educators to enhance learning.
