A medical practice in England is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join their award-winning team. We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse who will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to the whole practice population.

We are ideally looking to recruit to fill a full time position of 37.5 hrs a week.
Here at Caythorpe and Ancaster Medical Practice we are a friendly and caring Practice, which provides a range of services for the 10,000+ patients who are registered with us. We strive to ensure every patient receives excellent medical service from all members of staff within the Practice. We have a skilled and experienced team comprising of 3 GP Partners, 7 GPs, a Nurse Practitioner, Paramedic Practitioner, Pharmacist, Clinical Care Co‑ordinating team and an excellent nursing team. We are also a training Practice and have dedicated GP registrars working with our team plus regularly host Medical students from Lincoln Medical School. Alongside these we have a highly motivated and competent Reception/Administration team and Dispensary team. We treat all patients and staff with dignity, independence, respect and honesty in an environment that is accessible, safe and friendly.
Assist with the planning and implementation and teaching for practice staff including Medical Students, Nurse Students, Nurses and Health Care Assistants. Feel comfortable working in a multi‑disciplinary environment. Take a consultative approach to their work, appropriately involving relevant people. Ability to take a role in managing chronic diseases and QOF. Ability to work under pressure. A willingness to learn new skills and be open to suggestions. Hold a current and full driving licence and have access to a car and be prepared to do home visits for Flu and Covid vaccinations. High level of self‑awareness. Fit with culture of practice team. Motivated and able to motivate others. Reliability. Flexibility - prepared to cover colleagues Annual Leave and possible sickness. Fitness to carry out duties manual handling and dexterity requirements. Able to travel between sites using own transport. Ability to deal with exposure to distressing circumstances or highly emotional events. Ability to cope with occasional aggressive behaviour.
