The role involves acting as the person in charge, ensuring high standards of care, and supervising the care team. This is a role for a Registered Nurse to work nights at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and ensuring high standards of care for the residents.
As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and observe all instructions to act upon his/her behalf whilst ensuring high standards of care for our residents. Other responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions, advising families and GPs of any changes in resident condition, and effectively deploying and supervising the care team to ensure all tasks are completed and residents receive the required care. You will be required to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years\' experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
