Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Wales is seeking a Band 5 nurse to assist the Ward Manager with daily operations. As part of the role, you will supervise junior staff and manage the ward in the absence of senior staff. Essential qualifications include NMC registration and experience in direct nursing care. This is a full-time position dedicated to providing holistic nursing care.

Qualifications

Overview

The role of nurse at Band 5 level is to assist the Ward Manager and deputies in delivering the day-to-day running of the service, including ensuring the ethos of the service is conducive to patient care. The post-holder will take charge of the day to day Clinical and Nurse Management of the ward in the absence of more senior staff.

Main duties

The post holder will also supervise junior staff and be able to teach qualified and unqualified staff.
