Tamworth Hospital is the principal referral hospital for the northern sector of Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD), servicing a population of over 180,000 people. As a major rural referral facility, Tamworth Hospital provides a wide range of specialist services, including emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, critical care, mental health, rehabilitation, and outpatient services. Located in the vibrant regional centre of Tamworth, the hospital is a teaching facility affiliated with the University of Newcastle, and offers opportunities to work alongside clinicians involved in research, education, and innovation. About the role

Medical 2 is a fast‑paced and dynamic ward caring for a diverse mix of medical, surgical, aged‑care, and dementia patients. No two days are the same, and you’ll gain experience across a broad range of clinical presentations. We are a young, friendly, and supportive team who value positivity, teamwork, and a good laugh along the way.
